Have your say and help the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to identify which unanswered research questions are the most important to you.

Womens Health

About the project

The WHRP project seeks to define the most pressing unanswered questions in women’s health by centring the voices and priorities of women and communities affected.

Through national surveys, analysis by their research team, and a final workshop, they’ll develop a set of priorities to guide future research and funding.

Progress so far

Over 1,400 people took part in the first survey, sharing more than 4,000 unanswered questions about women’s health. These were grouped into six key areas: fertility, gynaecology, obstetrics, oncology, societal factors and ‘other’.

The second survey, which closed in July 2025, invited people to prioritise these themes. This identified 14 key topics.

Get involved

The third and final survey is now open, asking people to identify which unanswered research questions they believe are the most important.

Royal College of Obstetricians want to hear diverse perspectives. Please have your say and help shape the future of women's health research by completing the survey.
