Healthwatch Bury are committed to promoting a fair and inclusive workplace where all our people can flourish and reach their full potential. We know diverse teams allow for a more creative and productive environment and therefore encourage applications from everyone regardless of: age, gender/sex, gender identity or expression, religion or belief, disability, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
Could you be the Healthwatch Bury board member we have been looking for?
We are currently on the lookout for people that could add their valuable skills and experience to our board of directors as we look to build on the work we have been doing and strive for bigger goals.
Joining the Board provides a great opportunity to help make a real difference to delivering service improvements and benefits for communities across the borough of Bury and beyond.
If you have a strong interest in health and social care and would like to influence service development across health and social services by representing the views of patients, service users and carers. Then we would like to hear from you.
You don't need to have done this sort of thing before, or have any particular qualifications, but we are looking for people who have knowledge or experience of areas we want to know more about.
Healthwatch Bury board positions are voluntary and unpaid, but we do pay out of pocket expenses.
We welcome applications from anyone who lives, works or volunteers in Bury to take up a Director’s position. Please do not hesitate to contact the Healthwatch Bury office should you wish to discuss the role informally with the Chair or Treasurer before applying.
If you are interested in finding out more about the role or would like to talk to us about it, please get in touch via email to info@healthwatchbury.co.uk or call us on 0161 253 6300.
