Get Started with Website Development
There are still places available for this free online week course that’s due to start on the 29th of January.
Monday – Friday : 10am – 3pm with an additional support hour till 4pm if there is anything extra that young people may want support with.
The Princes Trust are able to support young people with laptops if they don’t have access to any but they are in limited numbers so it will be a first come first serve basis.
Explore Course
The Prince’s Trust is recruiting for our new Explore course starting this February, being delivered from our Manchester Centre.
The course is targeted towards young people aged 16-25. This a great opportunity for any young people who would like to build confidence and learn new skills in a supportive environment.
An ideal course for any young people looking to make the first step towards employment or education!
What will the course involve?
- Young people will take part in a range of activities including outdoor learning, practical skills, arts, and independent living skills
- Opportunity to gain a Prince's Trust Qualification in Employability
- Work on key skills such as teamwork, confidence, and communication
- Learn in a fun and supportive environment with activities tailored towards the young person’s needs
- After completing the course, they will have three months of progression support to help towards make their next steps.

An Access week from 13/02 to 16/02 and follow on sessions every Thursday and Friday from 22/02 to 15/03 10am to 3pm each day

Get Started in Women's Boxing
This Get Started with Women’s Boxing Programme is in partnership with the sports company JD, and it will be based in a Wythenshaw Gym. This is a 5 day course, Monday-Friday 10-3pm (times will be confirmed) which is completely free of cost.
4th-8th March, there will be a small taster session on the 27th February.
During this week you will:
- Learn the basics of boxing in a supportive women’s only environment (anyone who identifies as woman/non-binary)
- Learn important life lessons about female empowerment, self-worth and well-being
- Learn how fitness can increase confidence and resilience on a course co-designed with World Champion Boxer, Nicola Adams OBE
- Have lunch, travel, and equipment provided
You don’t need to have any previous experience within boxing, just the willingness to enjoy the course.
