Activities for Carers Week in Bury (5th - 11th June).

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and their communities.

MONDAY

Sir Robert Peel 11.30am – 2.00pm (Whitefield)

Sandwich lunch and refreshments. Quiz and fun for all!

DIGITAL: Zoom Quiz hosted by Rochdale Carers Hub - 7pm - 8pm

TUESDAY

Listening Ear Café drop in with lunch on us 10:30am –1pm (Radcliffe)

Why not come along and meet other carers and the team. Delicious food and great company.

DIGITAL: 'Visible, Valued and Supported' -1pm
Self-Care Workshop with Charlotte Marsden (Associate Psychological Practitioner)

WEDNESDAY

Weekly extended coffee morning 11am-2pm (Central Bury)

Ben Tyer, solicitor, will be there to offer free 121 support and guidance around Power of Attorney, Wills, Future Planning and Inheritance Tax
Tony our resident music man will be there with his collection of CD’s and optional karaoke.

Cake and refreshments for all!


THURSDAY

Carers Walk Heaton Park – 11.00am – 1.30/2.00pm (Prestwich)

Join the team, Manchester and Salford Ramblers and The Stepping Out Project for afabulous day outdoors.

Free picnic lunch.

Sara Chalice is an inspirational carer who will be delivering a webinar highlighting her own story and also tips and tricks for carers to improve their own health and wellbeing.
