During this event, young people will take part in online interviews for a Service Executive role at Sky Connect. They'll also receive interview coaching and feedback to help them develop.
This role in Sky Connect sits within the Customer Operations Office which is responsible for driving all aspects of the Sky consumer subscription business. The Sky Connect Service Executive role will engage with onboarding new business customers into Sky Connect seamlessly through provisioning and assurance process steps.

Get Hired in Communications with Social

During this event, young people will take part in online interviews for a Business Development Coordinator role. They'll also receive interview coaching and feedback to help them develop.
This is a new and exciting role within the business and offers a good introduction to anyone keen to start a career in marketing and business development, within a fast-growing agency. The Business Development Coordinator will provide support to the Group Business Development Manager and Marketing & Data Manager in the delivery of new business projects. This role will be central to the Business Development team, which supports the entire group of Social businesses to implement their growth plans among new and existing clients.

Google IT Support Certificate

This course offers young people the opportunity to take part in a mix of self-study and live online support, while learning key IT support skills such as computer assembly, wireless networking, programme installation and customer service. They'll hear from tech industry professionals with unique backgrounds and perspectives, who started their careers in IT support.
Young people will finish the course with a recognised certificate to impress potential employers and will have the skills they need to kickstart their new career.

Level UP

Co-developed with Capgemini, Level Up aims to offer young people insight into the different industries that use technology and digital skills, helping them to build new skills and unlock hidden potential.
We've partnered with a variety of specialist partners including Gaydio, The Reporters' Academy, NextGen Skills academy and HOST to bring you this free three-week course. They will provide insight into topics such as radio, coding, game design and video production.
Young people will gain an understanding of how the different industries use technology, some of the key roles within the sector and an insight into the different paths into these industries.

Get in to social care with Next Stage
8th - 19th November
Duration: Two weeks full-time

Next Stage support their residents to carry on enjoying the every day routines we all cherish. Next Stage's homes offer a wide variety of lifestyle choices tailored to ability, goals and aspirations not limited by risk and disability. This course will prepare young people for the Support Worker roles that Next Stage will be recruiting for at their St Paul's Court and St Croston's Court locations in Bury.
The two weeks will be will be split into a mix of online sessions and work experience placement days in a care home in Bury. Young people will take part in workshops that will prepare them for roles in health and social care.

As an organisation, L'Arche are committed to providing people with learning disabilities the opportunities and support they need to lead fulfilling and empowered lives. During this event, L'Arche are recruiting five Live Out Assistants.
Live Out Assistants provide person-centred support to one or more adults with learning disabilities at home, and in the local community. The role is to support the person to achieve their goals within the Support Plan, to support them to live as independently as possible and in the way they choose, whilst helping them to stay safe and healthy.

We've partnered with Greggs to deliver this one-week training course for young people who are interested in working in retail. Young people will gain the following from the course:
- A trial shift in a Greggs shop, learning how Greggs' staff deliver excellent customer service.
- Employability and training days.
- The chance to learn about Greggs and their values, excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
- Improve teamwork and communication skills, and boost confidence.
- The opportunity to gain access to employment only open to participants on this programme.
Young people will undertake online training followed by a trial shift in a Greggs shop in Greater Manchester.

Explore Enterprise
15th - 26th November
Duration: Six two-hour sessions

We continue to offer support to young people aged 18-30 wanting to find out more about becoming self-employed or setting up their own business. The course is designed to explore whether self-employment is the right choice and to equip young people with the skills and knowledge to develop their idea further.
Each module is two hours long and will cover the following topics: marketing, selling, introduction to finance, personal money management, pricing, cash flow, book keeping, business plan and next steps.

Get Started and Change the Game with Unity
22nd - 26th November
Duration: One week full-time
For 16-25 year olds
Media City, Salford
This course will give young people the opportunity to develop sought after skills in Unity programming.
It follows the Unity User qualification training syllabus and helps future creators to start the path to their career within the real-time 3D ecosystem. Young people will learn how to use the programming language C# to create prototypes, tackle programming challenges and create their own gaming project.
