Whitefield Community Day
The event is free to attend and there are no tickets required!
You will see the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) mascot PC Cub making their way around the event, so make sure you give them a wave!
They hope to receive a surprise visit from the Tactical Mounted Unit (police horses) during the day!
There are two parts to the event: Emergency vehicles from GMP's Traffic Unit, GMP's Tactical Aid Unit, The North West Ambulance Service (Whitefield) and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue (Ramsbottom) will be static on the school car park. Partners at FAM Recovery will be nearby to showcase how they work with the police and the important job that they do!
The school field will be the host to a number of local businesses, partners, charities and organisations such as:

As recently seen at the Prestwich Clough Day, Talon's will be present with their fantastic Birds of Prey exhibit!
There will be a free prize draw; which is open to the first 1000 people that attend. If you pick out the correct ticket from the draw, you could win an amazing prize!
This is an exciting opportunity for the community of Bury to come together and enjoy a fabulous, family day out!
Glitter & Glow MCR are able to provide face painting on the day for a small fee & Mr Whippy will be there to top of a brilliant day with a refreshing ice cream!
GMP would kindly ask that you park away from the event to minimise disruption to local residents. Please utilise public transport and other forms of transport; where appropriate.
