Help shape an Adult Social Care Sensory Impairment Strategy for Bury
Working in partnership with Bury Blind Society and the Bury Hearing Hub, the Community Commissioning division of Bury Council are undertaking engagement and consultation activities as part of a wider piece of work to help the development of an Adult Social Care Sensory Impairment Strategy.
They want to understand:
- What help and support adults living in Bury who have sight loss, hearing loss or have a dual sensory loss use to help remain independent with day-to-day living. This could be a group, activity, service, technology, and equipment.
- What could help but is not available.
They are keen to seek the views of everyone - from adults who have sight loss, hearing loss or have a dual sensory loss, family members and friends, to professionals and the public. Whether people have lots of experience using Adult Social Care in Bury, or none at all, they want to hear from you.
