Free Family First Aid Course for Parents and Carers

By the end of the course, participants should be able to: 

Identify the meaning of First Aid 

• Recognise and respond to an emergency situation      
• Perform CPR on an adult, child or infant 
• Put an adult, child or infant into the recovery position safely 
• Use a defibrillator correctly 
• Know what to do in a choking scenario   
• Respond to breathing problems  
• Treat a wound and support a broken bone or dislocation  
• Deal with a seizure
