Get Hired in Finance is an opportunity to apply for a role as a Finance Assistant with Voly.
Voly is an industry-leading, superyacht accountancy software provider based in Cheadle, Stockport. They're recruiting a Finance Assistant, who will play an integral role in supporting the Finance function, working with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant to deliver financial reports and management information on a timely and accurate basis.
During this event, young people will take part in an interactive workshop with a Corporate Volunteer where they will share tips, techniques and provide feedback to help them prepare for interviews. They'll then take part in an online interview with Voly.

Get Hired with AutoTrader - Technical Support and IT Helpdesk roles

This event is an opportunity to apply for roles in the Customer Technical Support and IT Helpdesk team at AutoTrader.
AutoTrader are an automotive advertising business. They offer a range of services to consumers from new and used car search listings, vehicle checks, dealer reviews and ratings, valuations, motoring service and advice. Through this event, AutoTrader are recruiting for two roles: Customer Technical Support and IT Helpdesk Apprentice.
Both roles involve a Level 3 apprenticeship to help young people to develop their skills and gain a valuable qualification.
During this event, young people will take part in an interactive workshop with a Corporate Volunteer where they will share tips, techniques and provide feedback to help them prepare for interviews. They'll then take part in an online interview for the roles available.

The Prince's Trust continue to offer support to young people aged 18-30 wanting to find out more about becoming self-employed or setting up their own business. The course is designed to explore whether self-employment is the right choice and to equip young people with the skills and knowledge to develop their idea further.
Each module is two hours long and will cover the following topics: marketing, selling, introduction to finance, personal money management, pricing, cash flow, book keeping, business plan and next steps.

Get Started with Theatre with Oldham Coliseum Theatre
16th - 20th August
Duration: One week full-time
For 16-25 year olds
In-person at Oldham Coliseum Theatre
On this free one-week course young people will learn new skills, build confidence and create a new piece of theatre, as well as taking part in special discussions with industry professionals.
Young people will take part in practical drama sessions focusing on acting, devising, and scriptwriting, and technical theatre sessions focusing on lighting, sound, and stage management. They'll also benefit from industry talks from theatre-professionals, exploring all the behind-the-scenes aspects of the theatre.
