About this event
These free, weekly, online sessions are for unpaid carers of a person living with dementia, whether that person lives at home with them, independently or in residential care. The sessions are also for carers who are adjusting to life without the person they used to care for.
What happens in a 90-minute session?
• check in with other carers in a confidential space
• stretch to connect body with mind
• practice relaxation skills
• listen to a poem which is the springboard for talking about our own experiences
• find our own words to say it as it is and make a collaborative piece of writing
Sessions run Wednesday afternoons 14:00-15:30 and Thursday evenings 19:00-20:30
