People from across the local community are invited to the official launch of the Bury Sporting Memories Club, which is taking place at:
Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre
Wednesday 26th February between 10:30am – 12pm
Bury Sporting Memories is a weekly session run every Wednesday from 10:30am to 12pm at Gigg Lane, the home of Bury FC, which welcomes older people aged 50+ to reminisce, replay and reconnect through the power of sport.
The club uses the power of remembering and talking about sport alongside physical activity to support older people aged 50+ to live better lives, including those living with dementia, depression, or living in isolation and lonely circumstances.
