Did you know that over 2,000 people over the age of 60 fell and fractured their hip while staying in hospital in England and Wales in 2020?

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has recently published a patient resource for the National Audit of Inpatient Falls (NAIF). The patient and carer panel, who advise the Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme (FFFAP) chose the three most important findings of the most recent NAIF 2021 report to inform the public what level of care they should receive if they sustain a fall when admitted to hospital. It also advises people on how to get involved with patient and public improvement groups.
