Dignifying Dementia

Dignifying Dementia organise social gatherings for people living with dementia, their family, friends and carers in Bury. They current host two groups in Bury- Piece of Mind and Merrie Melodies. Piece of Mind is an activity group where they play games and reminisce. Merrie Melodies is a singing group where they sing along to songs from the 50s-70s. Hot drinks, biscuits and cakes are provided at both sessions.

Upcoming Events

Dignifying Dementia currently runs two sessions in Bury. The Merrie Melodies group meets at St John’s Church in Tottington on Wednesdays and their Piece of Mind activity group meets in Prestwich on Tuesdays. They also host regular carer’s nights around Bury as well as dementia awareness sessions.
