Healthy Young Minds has changed its name to Pennine Care CAMHS

Healthy Young Minds has changed its name to Pennine Care CAMHS (child and adolescent mental health services).

All of Pennine Care’s children and young people mental health services in Bury, Oldham, Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale, Tameside & Glossop, and Stockport will be known as CAMHS.   

The new CAMHS design will appear on communication materials and signage for services will be changed to CAMHS, this should be completed by the end of November.  Please see the following key information:

 

    • The new CAMHS website has gone live – links to the HYM website will be automatically directed to the new site, which you can find here:  www.penninecare.nhs.uk/CAMHS  
    • A new animation film explains why the name has been changed and provides information about services. You can view the film on YouTube here: Welcome to CAMHS
    • A new Twitter account @PennineCAMHS went live on Monday 25 October. 
    • Some of the services e-mail addresses have been updated – emails sent to old addresses will be automatically forwarded.  Find a list of e-mail address changes here: CAMHS e-mail address changes
    • Telephone numbers have not been changed.  
    • All letters to families will have details of the new name.
