A Greater Manchester survey to better understand how we can support working carers

The Greater Manchester Health and Social Care (GMHSC) Partnership, the body overseeing devolution of the area’s health and social care budget, is looking at how we make sure carers across Greater Manchester receive the support they need in the workplace. This is part of a wider programme of work which recognises and supports the role of carers in Greater Manchester.

A carer is anyone of any age who ‘supports, unwaged, a relative, partner or friend who due to physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction could not manage without that support’

If you are a carer, then GMHSC Partnership wants to hear from you. A survey has been developed to understand the different challenges carers can face in the work place and the support made available. Findings will be used to shape the support available for carers in the workplace. This survey is open to all carers in the region and takes just a few minutes to complete.
