We have updated the Osteopathic Practice Standards to make them easier to use in practice. We are now carrying out the final consultation before we publish the new standards and we welcome your feedback.
Today we have launched a consultation of the Osteopathic Practice Standards and we would like to hear your views on whether the standards could be improved.
We are seeking feedback on the updated standards from a broad range of stakeholders, including osteopaths, patients, osteopathic organisations and other healthcare professionals.
2017 marks five years since the Osteopathic Practice Standards were first published, and it is important that they continue to work for osteopaths to continue delivering high quality care.
Between now and the end of October you can visit the website http://standards.osteopathy.org.uk to comment on the updated standards. Alternatively you download the consultation form from the site and email us your responses at: email@example.com. Hard copies of the review are also available on request from firstname.lastname@example.org
This is your opportunity to tell us where the standards can be improved, so along with inviting your comments we would appreciate any support you can lend to promote this opportunity among your networks.
The closing date for views is 31 October 2017.
All feedback we receive will allow us to develop the final version of the updated Osteopathic Practice Standards which will be published in 2018, and will come into effect from September 2019.
We look forward to hearing from you.
