Think Self Care for Life: Think the right health service
During the month of November THE BURY DIRECTORY will be supporting the Self Care campaign. The Directory is a vital signposting tool for all to use to source information, advice, activities and local events. The team will be out and about during the month, having stands in libraries and the Bury centre, to enable people to learn more about the directory and how to help themselves and others best use self-care in all aspects of their life. This might be looking for a local club, an activity, a service or finding out more information about a health and social care need.
- Tuesday 5th November Bury Library, 10.30am – 1.30pm
- Tuesday 12th November Prestwich Library, 10.30am – 1.30pm
- Tuesday 19th November Radcliffe Library, 10.30am – 1.30pm
- Tuesday 26th November Ramsbottom Library, 10.30am – 1.30pm
The Bury Directory now has developed a new channel titled ‘NHS & Wellbeing’ where you can access information and advice around conditions and minor ailments as well as sourcing local NHS and non-NHS services
REMEMBER some health conditions such as sprains, colds and coughs can be treated at home or with advice from a pharmacist without a trip to the GP or A&E. Using the right health service for your health needs will save you time and help take pressure off the NHS.
