A fast and convenient way to get help for urgent medical concerns, as NHS 111 is now available online.
To get help, patients simply go to the website – 111.nhs.uk – enter their age, sex, postcode and main symptom and then answer a series of questions about their main health problem.
They can find out how to get the right healthcare in their area, including whether they need to see a GP or seek urgent care, get advice on self-care and in most areas, get a call back from a nurse, doctor or other trained health professional if they need it.
Whatever the need is, no matter how patients access the service, NHS 111 will ensure that they get the right care, from the right person, as quickly as possible.
Anyone that needs medical help quickly, when it’s not an emergency, can go to 111.nhs.uk or call NHS 111.
