We are excited to announce the Princes Trust are offering FREE spaces on a Get Into RETAIL, Get Started with APPS & Fairbridge courses in Salford & Bury.

Get into Retail in Partnership with

Our Make Your Mark retail course, delivered in partnership with Marks & Spencer, will give you the skills to get ahead in the retail sector.

This 4 week on the job programme is for unemployed or out of education young people aged 16-25 year olds.

Taster day on: Tuesday 5th February In Manchester City Centre

The full time Course runs from: Monday 11th February to Friday 8th March 2019

 Placements will be in Manchester City Centre, Trafford Centre & Aston stores

 If you would like the opportunity to Gain in-depth professional training in the retail industry, learn about stock rotation and control, good customer service and sales skills. Benefit from workshops on CVs and interviews techniques, along with receive up to six months support after the programme to help you find a job.

“Get Started With APPS”

Course dates: Monday 25th February to Friday 1st March 2019

 The Prince’s Trust are offering FREE spaces onto the Get Started programme with Apps

 This programme is for 16-25 year olds who need to increase their confidence and out of employment or education. It doesn’t matter whether you know nothing about tech or have a software degree- all abilities catered for and there’s always something to learn.

 Come and join us on this week long programme:

Learn how APPS are made and learn about coding, Understand what makes a good APP, Design and produce your own APP

Get feedback from software design engineers and find out more about the jobs they do, Build and develop your confidence and personal skills

Fairbridge in Salford & Bury

 This Free course is for any young person 16-25 year olds who have struggled to engage in previous courses, not currently in education or employment or training and are not sure what is next for them.

The Salford Course:     14th January: 2 hour induction (11a.m.-1p.m.)

22nd January: 3 hour Induction (11a.m.-2p.m.)

23rd January: 5 hour progression Induction (10am -3pm)

Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th: Week 1 3 day Access course using adventurous activities to build on confidence, communication skills, self-esteem team working and much more.

Monday 4th  to Wednesday 6th : Week 2 3 day Access building on skills developed during the previous weeks and pushing comfort zones further to assist in meeting goals.

Follow-on: sessions continue to run on a twice weekly basis working on employability, independent living a skills in a fun and interactive way.

Salford venue:   Maple House, Cemetery Road, Weaste, Salford, M5 5WG

Skills gained:     Qualification in personal development & employability, Certificates in first aid, food hygiene and more, Communication and leadership skills, Breaking habits and living independently  Taking responsibility and decision making, Confidence and meeting new people.

The Bury Course:           20th February: Induction: Consists of a 3 hour session to familiarise with the group, environment and course content with ice breakers and team challenges.

Monday 25th February Week 1: 3 day Access course using adventurous activities to build on confidence, communication skills, self-esteem team working and much more.

Monday 4th March Week 2: 3 day Access building on skills developed during the previous weeks and pushing comfort zones further to assist in meeting goals.

Bury venue:         TBC

Skills gained:     Qualification in personal development & employability, Certificates in first aid, food hygiene and more, Communication and leadership skills, Breaking habits and living independently  Taking responsibility and decision making, Confidence and meeting new people.

What’s more, all our programmes are completely free and won’t affect their benefits . We will even cover travel expenses and provide Free lunch for the placements.
