Let’s Talk Loneliness Bury

We would like to invite you to an event at which we will outline the vision for working towards ending loneliness and social isolation in Bury. This event will be your chance to make a big difference to the lives of people living in Bury.

Loneliness and social isolation are some of the biggest challenges facing our society and local communities, effecting people’s health and wellbeing. It can affect people of all ages and all backgrounds.

At the event we will work together to develop a shared understanding of the causes of loneliness and how collectively we can address it. We will develop a greater understanding of what opportunities are already out there and what further steps could be taken to end loneliness in our Borough.

The event will provide an opportunity to be informed and reflect on services and groups that already exist within the community, with a showcase of some of these for you to explore in a market place style.

As well as coming to find out what is available in your local area we are actively seeking your view on any gaps that collectively can be addressed.

Lunch and refreshments will be available on the day.
