The next ‘Medicine for Members’ event is a free food tasting event ‘ Catering Unwrapped’ on Wednesday 15 August 2.00 pm until 3.30pm. at the Broadoak Restaurant, Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Old Road, Bury, BL9 7TD.
The event will give delegates the opportunity to learn about the different catering systems used including; traditional cooking, cook freeze and cook chill. There will be a presentation on the research and work that goes into producing special diets, a tour of the kitchen, including the plated-meal service and an opportunity to sample some of the traditional cooked food, cook freeze food and special diets we serve to patients on our hospital wards.
